1) Definitions

Platform/We/Logik: The "Lawgic" application and website managed by Tiny Toy Company

User: The case owner or client seeking legal service

- Lawyer: A licensed and registered attorney according to the applicable laws and regulations in the State of Kuwait

- Offer: A written response from the lawyer including a professional proposal and estimated fees

- Points/Credit: Paid units purchased by the lawyer to enable him to send offers through the platform

2) Nature and Limitations of the Service

- "Lawgic" is a neutral technical platform and is not a law firm, brokerage, or legal referral entity.

- No agency contract or attorney/client relationship is established within the platform. "Accepting the offer" within the application only means the user expresses a desire to communicate with the lawyer, after which contact details are shared for both parties to complete the contract or not outside the platform and in the manner chosen by both parties.

- The platform does not intervene in determining or collecting fees or in managing the professional relationship or its outcomes, and it does not guarantee any results for any case.

3) User and Lawyer Accounts

- The lawyer is obliged to input accurate information about their license and specialization and to fully comply with the provisions of applicable laws and professional codes (including those related to professional advertising).

- The user is obliged to provide accurate information about their case and attachments and acknowledges responsibility for their content.

- The platform has the right to suspend or terminate any account if it is proven that misleading data has been provided or if terms or laws have been violated.

4) Offer Mechanism

- The lawyer cannot access offers from others within the platform; each offer is submitted entirely independently.

- Including any purely promotional content or disparaging comparisons with colleagues or misleading promises is prohibited.

- Acceptable competition is based on competency and professional value, not on lowering prices that undermine the profession's principles.

- The user has the right to negotiate the fees with the lawyer before any external contract.

5) Points and Usage Fees (Specific to Lawyers)

- Purchasing points is in exchange for a technical service (allowing offers to be sent through the platform's digital infrastructure) and is not a guarantee of obtaining a client or concluding a contract.

- Refund Policy:

1. The lawyer has the right to request a full refund within 24 hours from the time of payment if no points from the balance of that transaction have been used.

2. Once any point from the balance related to the transaction has been consumed, the payment becomes non-refundable.

3. In the case of a technical malfunction/duplicate charge/failure to add points documented in our records, we will refund the full amount to the original payment method after verification.

4. If the platform stops the service for general reasons not attributable to the lawyer, the balance not used will be refunded.

5. When the account is suspended/closed due to violation of terms or misuse, the unused balance will be forfeited.

6. Promotional points/gifts are not redeemable for cash.

7. Refunds will be made to the original payment method, and the time required depends on the payment provider/bank.

- The platform reserves the right to modify point prices or packages with prior notice through available channels.

6) Content and Responsibility

- The published content (case descriptions/offers/professional news) is the sole responsibility of the sender, and they acknowledge their ownership of the necessary rights and compliance with laws or the rights of others.

- The platform is not a party to the agency relationship between the user and the lawyer, nor does it bear responsibility for fees, execution, or results.

- We reserve the right to remove or block any content that is illegal or reported.

7) Intellectual Property

- All elements of the platform (name, logo, interface, codes, designs) are owned by the operating entity or licensed for use. Copying or reverse engineering or derivative works without prior written permission is prohibited.

8) Privacy and Data Protection

- Data processing is subject to the attached privacy policy, which is an integral part of these terms.

9) Indemnification

- The lawyer commits to indemnifying the platform and its operators for any claims or penalties arising from professional violations, or violations of advertising/publication restrictions, or violations of intellectual property rights, or providing incorrect licensing information.

10) Termination and Suspension

- We may suspend or terminate access to the platform in the event of violations of terms or laws or the existence of security/legal risks. The user may close their account at any time from the account settings provided they settle existing obligations (if any).

11) Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

- These terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of the State of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute arising therefrom, unless both parties later agree to amicable settlement or arbitration.

12) Amendments

- We may update the terms for legal or operational reasons. Continuing to use the platform after notification of amendments will be considered acceptance.
